For promotion of walnut crop in the state , a walnut Development Station was established at Nohra in Distirct Sirmour & with the passage of time,the old & senile progeny trees have now uprooted. The Centre has now been taken over by the Society (HPNMS) for development where in apple bud wood bank has been established under the World Bank Funded Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Development Project.
